Management
President & CEO
Jean-Pierre “JP” Bolat founded The Bolat Group in June of 2009. Prior to this Mr. Bolat was Senior Director of Business Development, Public Sector, Education & Healthcare for Oracle Corporation Japan. He was responsible for developing and managing key aspects of Oracle!s License Business in Japan!s Public Sector with specific emphasis on the Ministry of Defense.
Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Bolat completed a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy with tours of duty around the world, including over 9 years in Japan. His final assignment was Chief of Combat Operations, Exercises, and Future Capabilities for Headquarters, U.S. Forces Japan, where he supported the advancement of U.S.-Japan Alliance coordination and policy. Mr. Bolat retired in August 2007 at the rank of Navy Commander.
Mr. Bolat graduated in May 1987 from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, with a Bachelor of Science in English and a minor in French. He earned a Masters of Science in Astronautical Engineering in June 1995 from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, and an Executive MBA from Temple University!s Fox School of Business in June 2008.
